Heroin Chic is back? And does it look good?

I'm sure if you don't live under a rock, and are on social media you have seen the headlines about how TINY the cast of Wicked is, and with the rise of Ozempic, is being a 00 now a hot commodity again?

Back in 2016, a BBL is what all the Instagram models wanted to have, a tiny wait, fat ass, big tits. But recently I've noticed, as have many others, that the early 2000s trend "Heroin Chic" is seemingly coming back, as many celebrities like Ariana Grande, Amy Poehler, and more are dropping some serious weight.

Now maybe call me crazy, but I kind of like the look of Heroine Chic, especially with modeling. It's a body thats supposed to be unattainable and unrealistic, i.e. "Cocaine Kate". Now i'm not for saying that the female body is a trend, or that young women should be looking up to eating disordered culture, but I believe that being thinner, may just be better? I'm not talking about being able to see your sternum, nothing sickly like that; but could they motivate others to get in shape?

Don't come for me in the comments, I don't believe in glamorizing eating disorders or substance abuse that leads to weight loss, I'm talking toned and lean bodies that are well fed but not overweight. Many people these days sympathize with obesity, and call people like me, who are expressing these opinions, as "fat shamers".

I guess I don't totally buy into that, we should not be glamorizing eating disorders, but we also shouldn't be glamorizing and excusing people who are overweight because of their inability to control their eating and don't work out.

Idk maybe this is a super crazy hot take, but IMO I think a good HEALTHY skinny, with muscle and realistic standards should be the next "trend", don't crucify me.

Toodles,

FancyNancy
