How do you curate the perfect, yet realistic wardrobe?

 Is anyone else crazy envious of these influencers these days with their perfectly curated closet? I know I am. 

Maybe I am just some disorganized mess but I feel like I will buy an item thinking of all the outfits and memories I will create with it, but when the time comes to actually wear it I have NOTHING to style it with. I see all these videos on TikTok and Instagram of influencers "style this top with me 5 ways". I don't know how their doing it, and making it look so good every time. 

They do have a financial leg up on me, i'm not raking in thousands of dollars off one post, but I still feel like every time I buy something it just collects dust. 

I try to channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw whenever in thrifting, but I always end up going back to a "go see" outfit whenever I'm going to a nice dinner or out with friends. 

Another thought. Why is everything so expensive now a days?  I know about inflation alright don't come for me, but 120 dollars for a top??? You CANNOT be serious. 

So i'm now taking suggestions on chic but affordable places to shop.
